Description
Patrick Benjamin Koch is principal investigator Emmy Noether research group “Jewish Moralistic Writings of the Early Modern Period: 1600–1800” funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG). He studied Judaic studies and religious studies at the Freie Universität Berlin and at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, where he earned his M.A. in 2007 and his PhD at the Department of Jewish Thought in 2012. After post-doc positions at Humboldt University of Berlin and the Center for Jewish History in New York City, he is working at the University of Hamburg since 2014.
