Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

1) I’ve tried unsuccessfully to log in using my password but your website tells me my log in details are invalid. What should I do next?

There are two main possibilities. The first is that you have not entered your correct password. If you’re not sure about your password, you can change it using the following link: https://www.eurojewishstudies.org/lostpassword/

The second possibility is that your membership is not fully paid up (in the case of Full and Associate members), or your student status has not been confirmed during the past 12 months (in the case of Student Members). If this is the case, you will not be able to log in. Please see the answer to the next question.

2) I know my password and entered it correctly, but your website will not allow me to log in. I’ve even changed my password and your website will still not allow me to log in. What should I do next?

This probably means that your membership is not fully paid up (in the case of Full and Associate members), or your student status has not been confirmed during the past 12 months (in the case of Student Members). If this is the case, you will not be able to log in until this has been resolved.

If you are an EAJS Full Member or Associate Member, and your membership is not fully paid up but you wish to re-activate your membership, then please arrange an EAJS membership payment. We send out reminder letters to Full and Associate members about membership payments in December of each year (i.e., when we are about to re-start the new membership year) with instructions for how to do this.

If you are a Student Member, and you haven’t sent evidence of your continued student status during the past 12 months, please send this evidence to the EAJS administration. You should have received a welcome letter when you joined the EAJS (and an annual reminder email) with guidelines for what information is acceptable to confirm your student status.

If in doubt, please contact the EAJS administration to confirm whether your membership is up to date, or for further information.
