The EAJS Funders Database can be used to search for information about funding and grants for various activities related to Jewish Studies (for example, research projects, conferences, publications, scholarships and teaching). We hope that this will help EAJS members in their professional careers, and contribute towards the development of academic Jewish Studies across Europe.
If you are a Full or Associate member of the EAJS (who is not in arrears), or a Student Members (who has confirmed their student status), you may view the funders database here. [Please note, you need to be logged in to use this facility].
In addition to the searchable database, members of the EAJS may also contact the EAJS Funding Advisor, Jonathan Starbrook, to discuss possible research grant opportunities that they would like to apply for. He is currently able to provide the following support:
- Advice on appropriate funders or schemes for a specific project
- Advice on the application process for applying for a specific grant
This advice should be considered as informal but informed support. Wherever possible, members should ensure they also consult with local research administrators (or equivalent) in their home institutions.
Jonathan Starbrook may be contacted by email at: email@example.com.
