Description
I hold the Martin Buber Chair in Jewish Religious Philosophy at Goethe-University, Frankfurt. I am also the director of the Buber-Rosenzweig-Institute for Modern and Contemporary Jewish Intellectual and Cultural History in Frankfurt and the co-director of the Frankfurt-Tel Aviv Center for the Study of Religious and Interreligious Dynamics. My research fields are Modern Jewish thought and intellectual history, the history of Jewish-Christian relations and the history of antisemitism.
