Description
I received a PhD in history of diplomacy from Belarusian State University in 2000. Now I am a lecturer in international relations history at Belarusian State University. In 2010-2016 I headed the Center for Jewish Studies at European Humanities University (Vilnius, Lithuania). I also edited the Belarusian annual of Jewish studies צײַטשריפֿט / Časopis, which was published in Vilnius&Minsk in 2011-2016. I am a member of the Council of European Association of Middle East Studies and a full member of European Association of Israel Studies. My academic interests include international relations in the Middle East from the 19th century, the history of Palestine during the Ottoman period and the British Mandate, as well as post-Soviet Jewish communities and Western historiography of the Middle East. I have a book on McMahon-Hussein Correspondence 1915-1916 (Moscow, 2008, in Russian).
