2 Three-Year Medieval Jewish Philosophy Postdocs at the University of Notre Dame Australia: deadline for applications: 6th November 2026
The University of Notre Dame Australia seeks up to two Postdoctoral Research Fellows in Medieval Jewish Philosophy for the ERC Synergy project RevLogRedux. Based in Sydney, these three-year positions ($121,739 + 15% superannuation) focus on medieval Hebrew logical texts and theories of fallacy.
Fellows will edit, translate, and analyse Hebrew texts; contribute to the project’s digital humanities platform; conduct independent research; and collaborate with international teams, under the supervision of Charles Manekin.
Applicants should have doctoral-level training in Hebrew philosophy or medieval Jewish intellectual history, research-level medieval Hebrew, and manuscript experience. Knowledge of digital humanities or Arabic, Greek, Latin, or Syriac is desirable. Applications close 6 November 2026.
