Funding objective / Areas of interest: Russian Jewish Congress, a leading secular Jewish organisation and the largest Jewish Charity announces a Grant competition to support studies in Sociology, Demographics, and Anthropology of Russian Jewry of the present day.
Type of funding available: Four Annual grants to support independent academic studies of Sociology, Demographics, and Anthropology of Russian Jewry of the present day.
Individual for 6 months
Individual for 12 months
Group grant for 12 months
Beneficiary type:
Eligibility criteria: Outcomes of the studies should be practical and applicable to the work of RJC. They also should be academically sound and contain independent findings.
For the group grant, principal investigator has to have a degree (Kandidatskaya, Phd or Doktorskaya) in Humanities
Exclusions / restrictions: No grants are awarded to support studies that have been completed, or those commissioned by third parties.
Grants cannot be used to buy equipment or software and capital costs of running your organization.

• Justification for relevance and novelty of the topic of the study
• Description of expected outcomes
• Preliminary budget
• CV with the list of publications and contact details for individual author of the group of authors
