Funding objective / Areas of interest: The Foundation subsidizes the Shoah Memorial in Paris; supports projects bearing on research and the history of the Shoah; provides assistance to survivors in need; and encourages the transmission of Jewish culture and heritage.
There are four relevant strands and deadlines are:
History of anti-semitism and Shoah (1st April 2021), Education (expected: September 2021), Memory (4th January 2021), and Jewish Culture (expected: September 2021).
Type of funding available: Foundation funding may be requested for:
– Fellowships for French thesis
– Thesis fellowships under joint supervision
– National and international conferences and seminars
– New publications, new editions, new translations
– Conservation and collection of archives
– Aid for libraries
