Funding objective / Areas of interest: Created in 1989 by Stella Rozan from the Julien and Stella Rozen Foundation, the Prix de la Coopération feminine (Prize for Women’s Cooperation) is awarded every two years. The prize has a value of 4,500 euros and the purpose of the award is to encourage women’s creativity and on a wider scale to encourage the promotion of women within the Jewish community. In the beginning when the prize was created, it was awarded to women artists working in the fields of painting, sculpture, writing, theatre and cinema. Since 2003, this has been extended to include women engaged in social projects. Prize winners are selected by a jury of fourteen people following a public call for applications.
