We are pleased to announce the launch of the new Open Access Journal Judaica. Neue digitale Folge (JNDF).
Founded in 2019, JNDF is a peer-reviewed academic journal covering all areas of Jewish Studies from antiquity to modernity. It will be published twice a year. The first issue is planned for the first half of 2020.
JNDF is the successor to Judaica. Beiträge zur Verstehen des Judentums, which was published in 74 volumes as a print version. The new Judaica publishes articles in German, French and English. Like its predecessor journal, it has a strong link to Jewish Studies at Swiss universities, but is of course open to all as a scholarly platform. The editorial office is located at the Institute of Jewish Studies at the University of Bern. Besides articles, JNDF also publishes reviews.
The articles published in our journal go through a double blind peer review process. After an initial review by the editors, each contribution is anonymised and evaluated by at least two anonymous reviewers.
JNDF is an Open Access Journal. All content is freely available and published under a Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY 4.0). No publication fees are charged. Copyright and exploitation rights remain with the authors.
