EAJS and AJS Membership Initiatives

The Association for Jewish Studies (AJS) and the European Association for Jewish Studies (EAJS) are proud to announce the following membership initiatives as part of their ongoing partnership:

1) Any European scholar in the field of Jewish Studies who is a current member of the EAJS, who lives and works in Europe, and has never been a member of the AJS, is invited to apply for a FREE one-year membership to the AJS. This AJS membership comes with all the full benefits of an AJS membership, including, subscriptions to the AJS Review and AJS Perspectives, ability to submit a proposal to the AJS annual conference, access discounted conference registration fees, ability to apply to a variety of AJS awards, fellowships, and professional development programs. 2) The AJS offers reduced membership rates for EAJS Full and Student Members. Please note that this reduced AJS membership rate is only available to EAJS Full Members whose membership is not in arrears and EAJS Student Members who have recently confirmed their student status. For more information, EAJS Members interested in taking out an AJS membership should email the AJS Membership Manager, Melinda Mann, at the AJS (mman@associationforjewishstudies.org)

3) The EAJS is offering reduced membership rates for AJS members based outside Europe. Existing EAJS Associate Members who are members of the AJS can pay the reduced EAJS membership rates, and AJS members based outside Europe who are not yet EAJS members may become Associate members of the EAJS at the reduced membership rates.
