Description
I am an historian interested in Jewish-Christian relations and modern Jewish thought and identity. I have explored these topics in a variety of contexts, including Jewish New Testament studies, the origins of Anglo-Reform and Anglo-Liberal Judaism, Israel and Zionism, Holocaust Theology, and Jewish engagement with Darwinian evolutionary theory and with atheism/scepticism.
I am co-editor of Melilah: Manchester Journal of Jewish Studies.
