Description
Taught at Concordia University, Dept of Religion, 1974-1980, early modern and modern European Jewish history. Director of Historical Research, Commission of Inquiry on Nazi War Criminals in Canada, 1985-86. Independent research/writing on aspects of modern Jewish history while working as senior official with Gov. of Canada until 2007. Co-Director of the Ukrainian Jewish Encounter since 2007, work involves research & writing, organizing roundtable discussions and conferences on aspects of the history of Jews on Ukrainian lands.
