Description

Vitaly Chernoivanenko is an associate professor at the Department of History at the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy, co-director of the M.A. in Jewish Studies program at NaUKMA, president of the Ukrainian Association for Jewish Studies, and chief editor of Judaica Ukrainica. Since 2017, he serves as a visiting professor at the University of Montreal. Dr. Chernoivanenko is the author of historiographical book on the Dead Sea Scrolls’ authorship and the identification of Qumran (Dukh i Litera, 2014), which has been nominated as one of the best history books published in Ukraine in 2014. Now he is working on his new book on queer motifs in ancient Jewish writings.
