1997-2003 Studium der Semitistik, Judaistik und allgemeiner Sprachwissenschaft an der Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität, München.

Seit 2004 Promotionsstudium der Altorientalistik an der Universität Leipzig. Das Thema der Dissertation „Das Verb im amurritischen Onomastikon der altbabylonischen Zeit”.

Studienaufenthalt am Genizah Research Unit, Cambridge University Library, im Dezember 2007.
