Description
In 2013 I completed doctoral studies at the Jagiellonian University in Kraków and the École Pratique des Hautes Études in Paris. In the following years, I carried out postdoctoral fellowships at the Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin, the Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas in Madrid, and the Taube Department of Jewish Studies of the Wrocław University. The current postdoctoral project at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem resulted in the digital catalog of decorated Esther scrolls being a part of the Bezalel Narkiss Index of Jewish Art.
My research interests focus on the broadly understood history of Jewish books including the relationship between manuscripts and printed books, decorated Hebrew manuscripts with particular emphasis on Esther scrolls, Jewish book art in the era of print, and the history of Hebrew script.
