Description
I studied early modern European history, peace and conflict studies, and Italian literature. I wrote my Ph.D. on the political history of the Jews in the Holy Roman Empire in the 16th century. I am conducting research on early modern Yiddish ethical literature and Jewish-Christian relations in early modern Germany. Currently, I focus on the study of the eighteenth-century Pietist mission to the European Jews and the Jewish interactions and reactions to it.
