Main research activities
The Roman Center for Studies on Judaism promotes the knowledge and study of Judaism in its many expressions: in the world but, in particular, in Italy and Rome. Born in 2002 from the meeting between the Jewish Community of Rome and the University of Rome "Tor Vergata", it organizes meetings, exhibitions, courses, hosts research tutors, sponsors initiatives aimed at spreading the knowledge of Judaism up to our days. The programs, supported by the University of Rome "Tor Vergata", take place at the University and the Centre for Jewish Culture in Rome, which makes its facilities available - the Museum, the Library, the Historical Archive - and contributes to the financing of research projects for young graduates and PhDs in the fields of study of the Centre.
There is a Jewish Studies library
