Awards degrees in Jewish Studies as a sole or major componentBA Oriental and African Languages and Cultures: The Degree Course in "Oriental and African Languages and Cultures" offers courses that will provide the student with a good training in theoretical linguistics, the written and oral command of a first language of the chosen area, the good competence of a second and the sure knowledge of the relative historical-cultural heritage. Graduates will also be able to use the main IT and telematic communication tools. Depending on the languages chosen, the training course will focus on different geographical areas, through a wide educational offer, rich in literary, historical, religious, philosophical, artistic, socio-anthropological and economic-legal contents. The course includes with its curricula the combination of two oriental or African languages according to a coherent project from a geographical and cultural point of view.
BA in Comparative Languages and Cultures: The Oriental Languages and Civilizations Study Course aims to train graduates with highly specialized skills by combining high language skills with an in-depth knowledge of Asian countries' cultures and civilizations. The training course is strongly characterized in a linguistic-literary and historical-cultural sense. Graduates will have acquired knowledge of an oriental language and related literature and a broad and in-depth knowledge of the complex cultural reality of an Asian civilization. Depending on the curriculum, they will be provided with the useful tool provided by the knowledge of a second oriental language, or they will have in-depth humanistic knowledge of a wide range: historical, philosophical, artistic in the chosen cultural area.
