Description
I am a senior research fellow in Hispano-Jewish history at the Department of Jewish and Islamic Studies of the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) in Madrid. My research interests include different aspects of the society, economy, and culture of the Iberian Jews, and the processes of religious conversion during the fifteenth and early sixteenth centuries. I am working on the research project Ginze Sefarad (Jewish archival documentary heritage from Spain and Portugal). In the past, I held visiting appointments at the EHESS (Paris), Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Herbert D. Katz Center for Advanced Judaic Studies, and Oxford Centre for Hebrew and Jewish Studies. Among my recent publications:
